Senior Embedded Linux Engineer (UAV Systems)
Location: Austin, TX (Onsite)
Type: Contract-to-Hire

Our client is seeking a Senior Embedded Linux Engineer to develop software for next-generation UAV and autonomous systems. This role will focus on embedded Linux platforms, hardware integration, low-level software development, and system performance optimization from prototype through production.

Key Requirements:

4+ years of embedded software or embedded Linux development experience
Strong experience with Embedded Linux, Yocto, Buildroot, and C/C++
Experience developing software that interfaces directly with hardware
Knowledge of communication protocols such as SPI, I2C, UART, CAN, Ethernet, and USB
Experience with device drivers, debugging, system integration, and performance optimization
UAV, robotics, aerospace, defense, or industrial automation experience preferred
