This team isdedicated to crafting the embedded board support package for all our devicesand is actively engaged in critical architectural decisions related toprocessor selection, operating systems, tools, and network adaptation.

Responsibilities

This positionpertains to an embedded architect responsible for developing embedded solutionsfor Digital, DC, and RF instrumentation, which are integral to oursemiconductor test equipment. The role involves leadership within ageographically distributed development team consisting of both seasoned andjunior engineers. Furthermore, the candidate will assume the role of atechnical lead in collaboration with the instrument teams. One of the keyresponsibilities is to uphold the security of embedded networks in our systems.

BasicQualifications & Skills

The ideal candidateshould possess a wealth of experience spanning 10-15 years in the followingdomains:

1. Extensivebackground in developing embedded Linux systems, particularly on Power PC orARM processors.

2. Proven expertisein embedded architecture development.

3. A strong grasp ofdiverse network protocols and interfaces.

4. Proficiency inthe development of Board Support Package (BSP) applications.

5. Familiarity withsoftware development processes.

6. A track record ofproject leadership.

7. Experience inleading and managing small teams.

8. Knowledge ofembedded cybersecurity.

Education

A bachelor's ormaster's degree in Electrical Engineering (EE), Computer Engineering (CE), or arelated field is a prerequisite. In addition, candidates should bring to thetable a minimum of 10-15 years of experience in embedded architecturedevelopment.
