Clothes Making, Detail Oriented
Position Summary:
Operate or tend sewing machines to sew/adhere emblems onto garments.
Essential Functions:
- Carefully reviews paper work for daily orders that include details such as quantity, colors, emblem logo, shape and size
- Place spools of thread, cord, or other materials on spindles, insert bobbins, and thread ends through machine guides and components.
- Position items under needles, using marks on machines, clamps, templates, or cloth as guides.
- Guide garments or garment parts under machine needles and presser feet to sew labels into garment.
- Working at a fast pace to ensure daily production goal is met.
- Perform other duties as requested.
Qualifications:
- Must have the ability to work closely with other people.
- Must have basic computer knowledge.
- Must be punctual and have a positive work attitude.
- The ability to keep your hand and arm steady while moving your arm or while holding your arm and hand in one position.
- Detail oriented
- Some sitting, standing, walking, lifting (over 75 lbs.), bending, twisting, reaching, stretching, pushing, and pulling required.
