We are currently expanding our custom apparel division and we're currently hiring a manager to lead the production team. JOB TITLE: Apparel Manufacturing, Production Manager
Position Overview:
The Embroidery/Direct to Film/ Screen-printing Production Manager will be responsible for managing daily shop operations, ensuring production efficiency, maintaining quality control, and leading a small team of operators. The ideal candidate has experience running Tajima embroidery machines, VELOX DTF Printing equipment, heat press operations, Screen-Printing knowledge, along with and leadership skills to maintain a well-organized and productive environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage embroidery and heat press production schedules to meet deadlines.
- Operate and maintain Tajima embroidery, Velox DTF Printing and heat press operations.
- Train and supervise a team of three or more embroidery operators to ensure high-quality work.
- Troubleshoot machine issues, adjust settings, and oversee maintenance to minimize downtime.
- Monitor workflow and implement process improvements to increase efficiency.
- Ensure quality control standards are met for all embroidered and heat-pressed products.
- Maintain an organized and clean work environment.
- Coordinate with production team to ensure accurate order fulfillment.
- Manage inventory of threads, Ink, vinyl, and other supplies.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- 4+ years of experience supervising an apparel production team and operations.
- 4+ years of experience operating and maintaining embroidery machines, dtf printing machines and heat press machines
- Detail-oriented with a focus on quality and efficiency.
- Ability to multitask and manage workflow in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and team leadership abilities.
Benefits & Compensation:
Salary range between $70,000-$85,000 which is negotiable based on experience.
