Job Type: Full-Time, Temp-to-Hire
Pay: $21/hour
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 6:00 PM (8.5-hour shifts)
Locations: Tarrytown, NY or Cherry Hill, NJ (onsite role)
Overview
A large, multi-specialty healthcare organization is hiring three EMC Billers to support a major system transition to Epic. This role plays a key part in clearing outstanding accounts receivable and ensuring accurate claim submission during a high-volume operational period.

What You’ll Do
  • Review, correct, and process patient encounters for clean claim submission
  • Work billing edits using RCx Rules, Waystar, and NextGen systems
  • Run pre-bill reports to validate coding and charge accuracy
  • Submit and monitor EDI files through clearinghouse systems
  • Identify and resolve claim rejections and billing errors quickly
  • Update secondary claims using primary EOB data
  • Maintain provider and billing data integrity within internal systems
  • Ensure compliance with timely filing and payer requirements
What We’re Looking For
  • Experience in medical billing or revenue cycle operations
  • Familiarity with insurance billing workflows and EDI processes
  • Strong attention to detail with high accuracy standards
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple billing tasks
  • Comfort working in billing software systems (NextGen or similar a plus)
Schedule & Work Environment
  • Monday–Friday schedule
  • 8.5-hour shifts between 8:00 AM and 6:00 PM
  • Onsite role with options in:
    • Tarrytown, NY (White Plains Rd area)
    • Cherry Hill, NJ (N. Kings Hwy area)
