The Emergency Department Nurse Manager is responsible for the 24-hour management of the unit, ensuring high-quality patient care that meets established standards. This role requires strong leadership, clinical expertise, and operational oversight to maintain efficient and effective emergency services. Responsibilities:
Oversee daily operations of the Emergency Department (ED).
Ensure compliance with clinical standards and patient safety protocols.
Lead, mentor, and supervise nursing staff.
Manage staffing schedules, resource allocation, and performance evaluations.
Collaborate with physicians, administrators, and other healthcare professionals.
Monitor patient care outcomes and implement improvements as needed.
Maintain regulatory and accreditation requirements.
Requirements:
Active RN license.
BSN required (master's in nursing or related field preferred).
Minimum 3 years of acute care Emergency Room experience.
Proven leadership experience ( charge nurse, supervisor, or manager ).
Strong communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
