    What You’ll Do 

    As a Surgical Technologist, you'll play a vital role in supporting the surgical team and ensuring a safe, efficient operating room environment while delivering exceptional patient care.

    • Prepare the operating room by organizing sterile instruments, supplies, and equipment for surgical procedures.
    • Maintain the sterile field by passing instruments, assisting surgeons, and supporting the surgical team throughout procedures.
    • Perform accurate instrument, sponge, and supply counts while assisting with specimen handling and dressing application.
    • Operate and monitor surgical equipment, including sterilizers, suction devices, lights, and other operating room equipment.
    • Assist with equipment maintenance, inventory management, sterilization processes, and operating room readiness in collaboration with the Circulating RN.
    • Performs a variety of tasks and other duties as assigned.

    Who We’re Looking For

    We’re looking for a dependable, team-oriented professional who can remain calm under pressure and provide safe, compassionate care to patients of all ages. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, communicates effectively, and is comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and rotating shifts.

    • Training as a Paramedic, Practical EMT, Medical Assistant, Certified Nurse Assistant, or related healthcare training preferred.
    • Current American Heart Association approved BLS certification required upon hire and must be maintained throughout employment with GRHD.
    • 6 months to 4 years of experience in a similar role preferred.
    • Strong communication, listening, teamwork, decision-making, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to follow instructions and use sound judgment in stressful situations.
    • Ability to safely lift, move, and secure patients of all ages and maintain accurate records; proficiency in required clinical and computer systems expected within six months of hire.

    What We Offer

    Our total rewards package includes

    • Pay Range: $20.43 - $27.55/hour (based on experience)
    • Shift Differentials: $2–$4/hour for nights and weekends, and other incentive pay available.
    • PRN Differential: 10% differential in addition to base rate salary

    Compensation may vary outside this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies and experience.
