Responsibilities ----------------
Receive and respond to emergency and non-emergency telephone and radio calls for medical assistance. Respond to calls in a time-sensitive manner. Ensure appropriate and accurate routing of calls. Dispatch emergency units and coordinate air medical flights as appropriate and per established algorithms. Maintain documentation of calls and physician/service referrals for legal, medical and statistical purposes. Follow up with referring entities for ease of access, marketing, evaluation, and quality improvement.
Requirements ------------
Education: High School diploma equivalency OR 1 year of applicable cumulative job specific experience required. Note: Required professional licensure/certification can be used in lieu of education or experience, if applicable.
