Appointment may be made at any rate within the salary range from SR-12C ($3,748) to SR-12E ($4,054) per month.
Independently performs a variety of moderately difficult tasks related to the administrative and operational functions of the Emergency Management Agency; and performs other related duties as required.Classes in this series are distinguished by their responsibility for providing subprofessional support and assistance in the review and formulation of emergency management preparedness and response plans and performance of all administrative housekeeping functions for the Emergency Management Agency.
The Emergency Management Technician I is distinguished by its responsibility to independently perform a variety of moderately difficult subprofessional tasks related to the administrative and operational functions of the Emergency Management Agency and to perform more difficult tasks under supervision and guidance on a progressively responsible basis; whereas, the Emergency Management Technician II is distinguished by its responsibility to independently perform the full range of tasks required relative to providing subprofessional support and assistance in the review and formulation of emergency management preparedness and response plans and performance of all administrative housekeeping functions for the Emergency Management Agency.
