Emergency Medical Services Outreach Coordinator

Job Summary and Responsibilities

As our Emergency Medical Services Outreach Coordinator, you will help bridge the gap between Virginia Mason Franciscan Health (VMFH) and our regional EMS providers so they can deliver seamless, high-quality prehospital and emergency care.

Every day you will cultivate relationships with community EMS agencies, emergency departments, and medical directors to facilitate open communication and identify opportunities for care improvement. You will be expected to lead educational initiatives, analyze patient care data to drive performance improvement, and serve as the primary advocate for trauma, stroke, and cardiac service alignment between the field and our hospital systems.

To be successful in this role, you must possess strong clinical knowledge of prehospital standards, a proven ability to lead professional education and quality assurance programs, and the interpersonal skills to effectively navigate complex clinical partnerships across state, local, and regional regulatory environments.

Job Requirements

Required

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing and four years of related work experience in an acute care hospital in Emergency, Trauma or Critical Care that demonstrates attainment of the requisite job knowledge/abilities.
• Registered Nurse: WA (RN:WA)

OR

• Graduation from a state-approved EMG-Paramedic education program and two years of related work experience that would demonstrate attainment of the requisite job knowledge/abilities.
• Emergency Medical Technician Paramedic: WA (EMT-P:WA)
