JobSummary
Responsible for providing high quality pre-hospitaland interfacilityadvanced life support including assessment, triage, and treatmentutilizingstandards and guidelinesestablishedby HCA HealthcareNorth Carolina MAMAMedical Director(s). TheEmergency Medical Technicianwillbe responsible forcarrying out the missionofHCA Healthcare North Carolina MAMAand goals of assuring that safetyremainsthe highest priority throughout the transport continuum.
What qualifications you will need:
Maintains current licensure and certification as a Paramedic in N.C. Office of Emergency Medical Services
Maintain BCLS certification
Must have a valid NC driver’s license, must be 21 years old to meet Mission Health insurance guidelines
Maintain FEMA 100, 200, 700, & 800
Must attend 80% of monthly scheduled team meetings
Preferences:
College education (or equivalent); Associated degree preferred
Minimum 3-5 years full time experience at the EMT level at a demanding 911 or interfacility transport service.
