    Job Description Summary:

    Provide primary BLS Life Support Care to include medical evaluation, treatment and stabilization of the critically ill and injured as well as on-going monitoring of patient's vitals during transport. This will require working directly with physicians and nursing staff to inform and receive patient information regarding the patient''s condition on arrival or prior to transporting.

    Responsibilities And Duties:

    60% - Performs primary job responsibilities listed for Emergency Medical Technician to include response, patient assessment, vital signs, patient monitoring and diagnostics, patient moving and lifting, medication administration.

    20% - Maintaining Equipment in proper working order

    10% - Daily cleaning to include mandatory weekly disinfecting of ambulances/equipment and station.

    10% - Report writing and documentation

    As a High Reliability Organization (HRO), responsibilities require focus on safety, quality and efficiency in performing job duties.

    Minimum Qualifications:

    High School or GED (Required)
