Emergency Department Snapshot

• 52-bed ED within a 288-bed hospital
• Level III Trauma Center 
• Approximately 42,500 annual visits
• 40-50 hours/day of physician coverage (overlapping schedules)
• 24 hours/day of APC coverage
• 1.8 to 2.0 patients per hour
• Integrated patient care: TeamHealth provides care across EM, hospital medicine, and intensivist service lines
• 24/7 OB/Gyn and L&D in-house, Level III NICU, STEMI 24/7, interventional neurology, hyperbaric oxygen therapy, orthopedics, interventional cardiology, interventional stroke, surgical specialties, and more
• One affiliated full-service community hospital: Fort Mill Medical Center 
• Two affiliated FSEDs: Gold Hill Emergency Center and Indian Land Emergency Center
