Del Sol is seeking an experienced and motivated assistant medical director to support clinical leadership, operational excellence, and team development within a busy Level II Trauma Center. This role offers a balanced mix of clinical practice and leadership responsibility in a growing, well-supported emergency department. About Del Sol
  • Level II Trauma Center
  • Annual patient volume of 60,000
  • 34-bed ED
  • EMR: Meditech
  • M*Model Dictation - a speech-to-text documentation platform that streamlines charting, enhances accuracy, and reduces administrative responsibility; this tool helps clinicians spend more time with patients and less time on paperwork
  • Part of the HCA Healthcare system
  • HCA Residency Program Association: internal medicine residents rotate through the ED
  • Affiliated freestanding emergency departments: Horizon and East
  • 379-bed hospital
  • 49 hours of physician coverage (9, 10, 11 hour shifts)
  • 20 hours of APC coverage

Position Requirements
  • Board prepared or board certified in EM through American Board of Emergency Medicine (ABEM), American Osteopathic Board of Emergency Medicine (AOBEM)
  • Texas medical license and DEA or ability to obtain prior to start date
