We are seeking a dynamic leader to join our team in Southwest Florida, serving as the head of our emergency department. In this pivotal role, you will oversee the delivery of top-tier medical services, lead a dedicated team of professionals, and collaborate with hospital management to enhance departmental performance. **Key Responsibilities:**
- Oversee emergency care operations and manage a team of emergency medicine providers and advanced practice providers.
- Deliver comprehensive clinical care during 12-hour shifts in a community-focused emergency department.
- Play a critical role in improving care standards and operational efficiency.
- Maintain malpractice insurance coverage, including tail.
- Coordinate with hospital leaders to improve quality measures and patient throughput.

**Required Qualifications:**
- Board Certified/Board Eligible in Emergency Medicine, or Internal/Family Medicine with recent emergency experience.
- Active or eligible Florida medical license.
- Certifications in ATLS, ACLS, BLS, and PALS required.
- Familiarity with Meditech is advantageous.
- Leadership experience is preferred but not mandatory.
