    Position Overview

    Patient Volume: 19,000

    Specialties: Emergency Medicine, General Surgery

    Coverage Model: 12-hour shifts, 10 shifts per month | 12-hour mid-level coverage

    Number of Beds: 69 hospital beds

    Acuity: Medium

    EMR: Cerner

    Admissions/Transfers: 15% admission rate


    Qualifications

    Licensure: Missouri medical license (or ability to obtain)

    Board Certification: Board Certified/Board Eligible ABEM, ABIM, ABFM

    Experience: Prior EM experience required

    Skills & Procedures: Broad EM skills set appropriate for a critical access facility

    Badges: ATLS, BLS, PALS


    Facility & Clinical Details

    About CHI St. Vincent North: CHI St. Vincent - North is a 69-bed level IV trauma center. The facility has surgical suites and offers general surgery along with being the first facility to provide an incision-less surgery for the treatment of acid reflux disease. The hospital shares a campus with CHI St. Vincent Rehabilitation Hospital.
