Job Description
Our organization is in search of an Emergency Medicine Physician to provide locum tenens coverage in Florida. Below are the specifics of the position:
- Start Date: As soon as credentialing is completed - ongoing
- Electronic Medical Record System: Meditech PDOC charting
- Emergency Department Capacity: 26 beds, plus an additional 8-bed Fast Track area
- Physician Coverage: 26 hours
- Advanced Practice Provider Coverage: 30 hours
- Admission Rate: 16%
- Annual Patient Volume: 35,000
- Qualifications: Board Certified/Board Prepared in Emergency Medicine (ABEM/ABOEM), ACLS, and PALS certifications are mandatory
- Licensure: Must hold a valid Florida medical license
