OVERVIEW

Relias Healthcare is seeking an experienced Emergency Medicine Medical Director to lead the Emergency Department at Natchitoches Regional Medical Center in Natchitoches, Louisiana. This is a leadership opportunity for a board-certified emergency medicine physician ready to drive quality and shape operations in a supportive, collegial environment. 

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Provide medical direction oversight for the ED, monitor outcomes, and collaborate with hospital administration on performance initiatives
• Maintain professional and courteous communication with facility and Relias administration and team members
• Assist in the development and implementation of quality improvement and risk management plans for the Emergency Department
• Participate in all meetings required by Relias to satisfy contractual obligations and improve facility operations

REQUIREMENTS

• Board-certified or board-eligible in Emergency Medicine preferred; Board certified FM or IM physician accepted
• Previous leadership experience preferred
• Active Louisiana medical license or ability to obtain prior to start
