- Approximately 25,000 annual Emergency Department visits
- 110-bed hospital
- 19 Emergency Department beds
- Level III Trauma Center
- 24-hour physician coverage
- 12-hour NP/PA coverage
- EMR system: Cerner
Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality emergency medical care to patients presenting with a broad range of acute conditions
- Perform patient evaluations, assessments, and treatment planning
- Stabilize and manage emergent and urgent medical conditions
- Collaborate with physicians, advanced practice providers, nursing staff, and specialists
- Ensure accurate and timely EMR documentation
- Adhere to hospital policies, clinical protocols, and quality standards
- Support patient safety and patient satisfaction initiatives
Qualifications
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Emergency Medicine
- Current Mississippi medical license or eligibility for licensure
- Strong clinical, communication, and decision-making skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented emergency care environment
