    Job Description

    Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center is seeking an experienced Emergency Medicine Physician Assistant to join its Emergency Department team in Poplar Bluff, Missouri. This is an excellent opportunity to practice in a busy, well-supported community emergency department with strong physician collaboration, structured coverage, and a patient-centered care environment.

    Emergency Department Highlights

    • Annual Emergency Department volume of approximately 40,000 visits
    • Level III Trauma Center
    • 32-bed Emergency Department
    • Physician coverage: 36 hours per day (12-hour shifts)
    • Advanced Practice Provider coverage: 36 hours per day (12-hour shifts)
    • Strong collaborative emergency medicine team environment

    Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center is a 410-bed acute care hospital serving southeast Missouri as a regional medical center. The hospital provides comprehensive services, including emergency care, cardiology, orthopedics, general surgery, obstetrics and gynecology, oncology, nephrology, pulmonary and sleep medicine, wound care and hyperbaric services, and urology. The hospital also supports care delivery through outreach clinics offering family practice services in surrounding communities.
