Job Summary
We are seeking qualified Emergency Medicine Physicians to provide high-quality emergency medical care in a fast-paced Emergency Department. The physician will evaluate, diagnose, treat, and stabilize patients with acute illnesses and injuries while delivering evidence-based, patient-centered care in collaboration with multidisciplinary healthcare teams.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate and manage emergency medical conditions.
- Provide urgent and acute medical care to patients of all ages.
- Diagnose, treat, and stabilize critically ill or injured patients.
- Manage trauma cases and other medical emergencies.
- Perform emergency department consultations.
- Conduct patient assessments and physical examinations.
- Order, interpret, and review laboratory tests, imaging studies, and other diagnostic procedures.
- Develop and implement appropriate treatment plans.
- Perform emergency procedures within granted clinical privileges.
- Coordinate patient admissions, transfers, and specialty consultations.
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation using the Electronic Health Record (EHR) system.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, specialists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure high-quality patient care.
Required Qualifications
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) from an accredited medical school.
- Active, unrestricted medical license in any U.S. state or territory.
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Emergency Medicine or Internal Medicine.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Current Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification.
- Ability to successfully complete facility credentialing and onboarding requirements.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous Emergency Department experience.
- Experience working in high-volume emergency care settings.
- Experience using Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems.
- Strong clinical decision-making and critical care skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team environment.
Schedule
- Full-Time Contract
- On-Site
- Emergency Department operates 24/7/365.
- Flexible scheduling with 8-hour and 12-hour shifts, including days, evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays as required.
