TeamHealth is seeking a full-time board-certified or board-eligible emergency medicine physician to join our exceptional Marco Island Urgent Care team.
Located in one of Southwest Florida's most desirable coastal communities, this opportunity combines a clinical practice with an unmatched lifestyle. State-of-the-Art Facility
- Modern 25,000-square-foot urgent care center
- 12 private exam rooms
- Dedicated triage room
- On-site laboratory services
- Advanced digital x-ray capabilities
- CT imaging available on-site
- Access to radiology support and comprehensive diagnostic services
- EMR: EPIC
- Annual Volume: 8,000
- Physician Coverage: 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.
- APC Coverage: 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. December to March
- RN Coverage: 2 to 3 RNs present the entire shift
- Certifications Required: ACLS and PALs, unless ABEM boarded
Physician-Led Care Model- Staffed by board-certified physicians
- Supported by experienced registered nurses and clinical staff
- Ability to manage a broad range of urgent and emergent presentations
- Two negative-pressure rooms to support infection control and airborne isolation precautions
Comprehensive Patient Care- IV infusion services
- Lacerations/injuries
- Workers compensation cases
- Blood testing and point-of-care diagnostics
- Seamless access to NCH specialists and hospital services
- Integrated healthcare system allowing direct referral, consultation, and transfer when needed
Qualifications- MD or DO degree
- Board-certified or board-eligible in EM
- Eligible for Florida medical licensure
- Strong commitment to quality, service excellence, and patient-centered care
