Locum Emergency Medicine Physician needed in the south TX area.
Physicians work 7a-7p and 7p-7a; NPPA works 12p-12a
Annual Volume: 23,600
Average encounters per day: 65
Beds: 14 ED Beds (plus 8 inpatient beds)
EMR: Cerner
Requirements: Board Certified in ABEM or ABOEM, or ABIM/ABFM Board Certified with EM Experience (plus ACLS, ATLS, PALS, BLS)
Subspecialties Available: Seizures, Respiratory, Gastroenterology
Certification Requirements: ATLS required for all non-EM Boarded MDDO's, PALS required for all PED Boarded MDDO's
EM Boarded clinicians are required to show proof of having ATLS at least once
Board Certifications - Board Certified/Board Eligible by ABMS/AOA in EM/IM/FM w/in 5 years of residency completion or fellowship. Must maintain status of renewals
Locum & Temporary Privileges Process: Locum clinicians receive temps which are for 120 days while the file is being processed fully and ready to go through meetings for full privileges
$500 referral bonus received for any referral who works 30 days.
