This facility operates a 12-bed emergency department within a 149-bed hospital, serving an annual emergency department volume of approximately 28,000 visits. The department maintains an established staffing model with physician and APP coverage to support quality emergency care delivery. Staffing and infrastructure are in place to support locum tenens clinicians during assigned shifts.

The Emergency Medicine Physician will provide clinical coverage during day and night shifts in a 12-bed emergency department, working 12-hour shifts scheduled from 6:00 AM to 6:00 PM or 6:00 PM to 6:00 AM. The clinician will evaluate and manage emergency presentations across all age groups while maintaining accurate clinical documentation throughout each assigned shift. The staffing model includes MD/DO coverage for 24 hours per day, supported by NP/PA coverage for 10 hours per day, four days per week. Board certification and prescriptive authority are required for this assignment; no call responsibilities are associated with this position.
