About the Clinician‘s WorkdayThe Emergency Medicine Physician will provide clinical coverage during day and night shifts in a 12-bed emergency department, working 12-hour shifts scheduled from 6:00 AM to 6:00 PM or 6:00 PM to 6:00 AM. The clinician will evaluate and manage emergency presentations across all age groups while maintaining accurate clinical documentation throughout each assigned shift. The staffing model includes MD/DO coverage for 24 hours per day, supported by NP/PA coverage for 10 hours per day, four days per week. Board certification and prescriptive authority are required for this assignment; no call responsibilities are associated with this position.
