About Westfield Memorial Hospital

• ED Volume: 10,000
• 5-bed patient treatment area with two additional vertical treatment chairs
• 12-hour shifts, 24 hours of physician coverage
• EMR: Epic with Abridge AI for ambient generative AI documentation
• ED physicians have the option to staff the wound clinic
• Since 1942, Westfield Memorial Hospital has served the greater Westfield, New York community by addressing observation and lower acuity patients
• Modular-style facility with 4-inpatient beds allows medical staff to incorporate patient access to an increased range of top specialists and outpatient surgery healthcare services
• Established referral pathway for higher acuity patients
• Westfield Memorial ED clinicians enjoy a close relationship with nearby Saint Vincent Hospital as most staff members work at both hospitals
