About the Role:
- Supervise all emergency medicine site directors within Central PA
- Serves as a member of various committees as appointed and agreed upon
- Measure, assess and optimize departmental operational efficiencies
- Assists with teaching activities in Emergency Department as UPMC Harrisburg is home to a 3 - Year Emergency Medicine residency program with 6 residents per class
- Strong collaboration with STAT MedEvac with regional emergency response
Qualifications:
- Board-Certified in Emergency Medicine by ABEM or ABOEM
- Passion for teaching and delivering compassionate, high-quality care
- Team-oriented mindset with a focus on personalized care and positive outcomes
- Licensed full-time Emergency Medicine Physician and obtain active staff privileges
