  • Shift: 10-hour Clinic & Call (8:00 AM – 6:00 PM, plus overnight beeper call)

  • Licenses/Certs Required: Active or IMLC license, DEA, BC in Emergency Medicine or Family Practice with rural health experience
  • Experience: Prior ER, hospitalist, OR, or OB/C-Section experience preferred

What You’ll Do:
  • Provide emergency medicine coverage in a rural critical access hospital setting
  • Manage a broad scope of cases including ER, outpatient, primary care, OB, and C-sections in emergencies
  • Collaborate with the hospital team to transfer patients when necessary
  • Support hospital operations during scheduled shifts and call periods
  • Participate in urgent, high-acuity cases to ensure patient safety and quality care

What You Need:
  • Valid medical license (active or IMLC) in Alaska or ability to obtain
  • DEA registration
  • Board certification in Emergency Medicine or Family Practice
  • Experience in rural health settings preferred
  • Ability to handle high-acuity cases and work flexible hours
