Posting Summary The Department of Radiology at New Jersey Medical School at Rutgers The State University of New Jersey is recruiting a full-time Emergency Radiologist Multiple positions. The successful applicant will be fellowship trained in Emergency Radiology AbdominalBody Imaging Neuroradiology or demonstrate experience in Emergency Radiology. Candidates must possess an M.D. or D.O. degree and either hold or be eligible for ABR certification in Diagnostic Radiology. J-1 Waiver sponsorship is available.

We are seeking a candidate at the Assistant Professor level or higher to join our section. New graduates are also encouraged to apply. We serve a diverse community with a wide range of interesting cases. We are a collegial department that values education of residents, clinical excellence, and faculty personal growth and well-being.

The Department of Radiology has 44 clinical and research faculty members who provide patient care for all the major divisions of contemporary imaging. The department has undergone a recent residency program merger with a total of 40 diagnostic radiology residents. The department is responsible for all aspects of diagnostic imaging at University Hospital, a tertiary care medical center.

University Hospital is a designated stroke center, liver transplant center, and a Level 1 trauma center with state-of-the-art equipment and employs medical and dental professionals who are specialists in their field.
