What You’ll Do
  • Provide total patient care in ER and Med Surg units in a critical access hospital
  • Assess, plan, and implement patient care in accordance with protocols
  • Perform IV insertions, EKGs, med pass, and glucose checks
  • Assist patients with activities of daily living (ADLs)
  • Chart using CPSI electronic health record system
  • Collaborate with a small, dedicated team across multiple disciplines
  • Support weekend rotations and flexible block scheduling preferences

What You Need
  • Valid RN license in Texas
  • BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC certifications
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in ER or Med Surg
  • Strong skills in IV placement, EKG interpretation, patient assessments, and charting
  • Ability to work a 7p-7a rotating schedule
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Experience in a critical access setting preferred
