What Youll Bring:
- Valid RN license and active certification
- Current BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC certifications
- Prior experience in emergency and med-surg settings, ideally in a CAH or travel nursing role
- Excellent clinical assessment and decision-making skills
- Ability to adapt quickly to different patient needs and unit requirements
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Proven ability to handle high-stress situations with professionalism
Additional Skills That Set You Apart:
- Previous travel nursing experience
- Experience working in a CAH environment
- Familiarity with Athena EMR system
- Flexibility to work shifts that may lean more toward Med-Surg occasionally
- LPN experience (beneficial but not required)
- Bilingual abilities or additional language skills
Preferred Education and Experience:
- Bachelors Degree in Nursing (BSN) or equivalent
- Minimum of 2 years of recent RN experience in emergency and med-surg settings
- Prior travel or CAH experience highly preferred
Other Requirements:
- Ability to work 12-hour night shifts from 6 p.m. to 6 a.m.
- No mileage restrictions for commuting
- Willingness to work in a fast-paced, resource-limited environment
- Prior housing arrangements should be secured before applying
