An 80+ bed acute care facility in Belton, MO is seeking an Emergency Room Manager to lead its emergency department. The hospital serves southern Jackson and northern Cass counties and is recognized by The Joint Commission, the American College of Radiology, and the College of American Pathologists Laboratory Accreditation Program.

The role. The Emergency Room Manager is responsible for the operational and clinical leadership of the emergency department. In this role, you will oversee day-to-day department functioning, ensure quality patient care delivery, and provide direct leadership to emergency nursing staff. You will collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to maintain department standards, manage staff performance and scheduling, and serve as a resource and escalation point for clinical issues arising within the ED.

What we're looking for.
  • 3+ years of Acute Care (Within the last year) ED Leadership experience required (Charge Nurse of ED experience is acceptable) — strong ICU charge experience may also be considered
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • (RN) Registered Nurse
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 60 days of employment start date
  • NIH Stroke Scale must be obtained within 90 days of employment start date
  • PALS Pediatric Adv Life Support must be obtained within 90 days of employment start date
  • Advanced Trauma Care for Nurse, or Trauma Nursing Core Course must be obtained within 6 months of employment start date

Schedule. This is a Monday through Friday daytime position, with on-call responsibility as needed beyond standard business hours.

Compensation. $44.27 - $61.99/hr plus $25,000 sign-on bonus
