Emergency Room Nurse

Position Overview

Seeking an experienced Interim Emergency Services Manager to provide operational and clinical leadership for the Emergency Department. This role is responsible for directing daily departmental workflows, supporting nursing staff, maintaining regulatory compliance, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality emergency patient care.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead, supervise, and coordinate daily operations within the Emergency Department.
• Manage department staffing, patient throughput, and clinical quality standards.
• Mentor and evaluate nursing personnel while fostering a collaborative clinical environment.
• Ensure compliance with hospital policies, state regulations, and patient safety protocols.
• Collaborate with hospital leadership, emergency physicians, and multidisciplinary teams to optimize care delivery.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Licensure: Active, unencumbered California Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• Clinical Experience: Minimum of 5 years of hands-on Emergency Room (ER) nursing experience required.
• Management Experience: Minimum of 2 years of nursing management or leadership experience required.
• Certifications: Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Health Screening: Negative TB clearance completed within the previous 12 months.
