A healthcare organization is seeking an experienced Emergency Room Nurse Supervisor (RN) to provide clinical leadership and operational oversight within a fast-paced emergency care environment. This opportunity is ideal for nursing professionals who are passionate about emergency medicine, team leadership, and delivering exceptional patient-centered care.
Supervise daily clinical and operational activities within the emergency department
Coordinate staffing assignments and support efficient workflow management
Promote compliance with nursing standards, policies, and patient safety initiatives
Support patient admissions, transfers, discharges, and care transitions
Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare teams to coordinate emergency care services
Assist with patient flow management and resource allocation
Provide leadership, mentorship, and support to nursing staff
Participate in quality improvement and performance enhancement initiatives
Monitor departmental operations and assist with problem resolution during shifts
Support clinical care delivery and provide hands-on assistance when needed
Foster a collaborative and patient-focused work environment
Current Registered Nurse (RN) license or eligibility for licensure
Graduate of an accredited nursing program
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
Current Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification
Current Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification
Previous emergency department nursing experience required
Prior leadership, charge nurse, or supervisory experience required
Strong communication, problem-solving, and team development skills
Ability to perform effectively in a high-acuity emergency care environment
