A healthcare organization is seeking an experienced Emergency Room Registered Nurse (RN) to provide high-quality care in a fast-paced emergency and urgent care environment. This opportunity is ideal for nursing professionals who thrive in dynamic clinical settings and are passionate about delivering timely, patient-centered care during urgent and emergent situations.
Perform rapid patient assessments and prioritize care based on clinical urgency
Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans
Administer medications, treatments, and emergency interventions as prescribed
Monitor patient conditions and respond appropriately to changes in status
Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare teams to coordinate care
Assist with emergency procedures, stabilization efforts, and patient transfers when necessary
Educate patients and family members regarding treatment plans, medications, and follow-up care
Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
Support quality improvement initiatives and patient safety standards
Adapt to assignments across emergency and urgent care settings as needed
Provide compassionate care while maintaining efficiency in a fast-paced environment
Current Registered Nurse (RN) license or eligibility for licensure
Graduate of an accredited nursing program
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification preferred or required
Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification preferred or required
Previous emergency department or urgent care nursing experience required
Strong assessment, critical-thinking, and communication skills
Ability to work effectively in high-acuity clinical environments
