Emergency Room RN (Nights) – Yuma, AZ
Pay Range: $39.93 – $51.91/hour (based on experience)
Night Shift Differential: $4.50/hour | Weekend Differential: $4.00/hour
Sign-On & Relocation Incentives (Out-of-Area Candidates Only):
Sign-On Bonus: $5,000 (1-year commitment) OR $10,000 (2-year commitment)

Position Summary
Onvida Health is seeking experienced Emergency Room Registered Nurses (RN) to provide high-quality, patient-centered care in a Level 3 trauma center. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2+ years ER/ICU critical care experience, including recent experience with Level I or II trauma patients. RNs will work collaboratively with physicians, mid-level providers, ED techs, and respiratory therapists to deliver safe and effective emergency care.
Note: Only candidates residing 100+ miles from Yuma, AZ will be considered.
Key Responsibilities
Provide direct patient care in a fast-paced ER environment (average 200 patients/day).
Monitor and manage patients using tele/monitoring systems.
Administer medications, IV drips, and ICU gtts in collaboration with ICU when needed.
Assess and manage patients of all emergency types, including trauma, stroke, STEMI, and critical care conditions.
Assist with procedures, diagnostics, and transport of critical patients to imaging (CT/X-ray) or other departments.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including ED techs, respiratory therapists, and physicians.
Maintain accurate documentation in EPIC EMR.
Participate in orientation, training, and adherence to safety protocols.
Required Qualifications
Minimum 2 years ER/ICU critical care RN experience, including Level I or II trauma exposure within the last 2–3 years.
Current Arizona RN license.
Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS.
TNCC certification preferred.
Ability to read tele strips and manage emergency interventions.
Willingness to work night shifts and meet weekend/holiday requirements.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with gunshot wound and stabbing patients a plus.
Comfortable with ICU drips and ventilator/CPAP management in collaboration with ICU team.
Strong communication and critical thinking skills in high-acuity environments.
Work Environment & Scheduling
Shifts: Nights, 8–12 hours (self-scheduling with varied start times: 7, 10, 11, 12, 1, 3 PM)
Weekend Requirements: 4 weekends per 4-week block
Holiday Requirements: Typically 2 of 5 holidays (including eves)
Shared floating schedule with nearby Foothills ER (15-minute drive)
Scrub color: Navy Blue
Orientation: 1-day New Employee Orientation, 1-day clinical/EPIC, 1-day floor orientation

Respiratory Therapy: 24/7 coverage with Glidescope, Hamilton & Phillips vents
