Emergency Room Services - SCH - Registered Nurse - Schuyler Hospital

Required Skills:
- Proven experience in emergency nursing or acute care settings
- Competency in triage, stroke management, and STEMI identification and treatment
- Ability to assess, prioritize, and provide high-quality patient care promptly
- Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams
- Ability to operate independently and assist in Med/Surg support and house supervision when needed
- Knowledge of hospital policies and emergency protocols
Nice to Have Skills:
- BLS, ACLS, PALS certifications
- Experience with electronic health records (EHR) systems
- Bilingual communication skills
- Previous experience in a hospital emergency department
Preferred Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) or higher preferred
- Minimum of 2 years of emergency or critical care nursing experience
- Valid Registered Nurse license in the state
Other Requirements:
- Night shift availability, including rotating weekends (3 12-hour shifts)
- Ability to handle a fast-paced environment and adapt quickly
- Willingness to support hospital-wide initiatives and additional responsibilities as needed
- Valid CPR certification; additional certifications such as TNCC or ENPC a plus
