Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS), EMT-Paramedics, Emergency Care, Hospital, Medical Assistance, Nursing, Nursing Management, Patient Care, Registered Nurse (RN)
GENERAL SUMMARY: Assist with patient care based on individual needs within the scope of practice under direct supervision of a registered nurse or Provider.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
- High School diploma or GED equivalent required.
- BCLS certification required.
- Previous Emergency Department Technician, Medical Assistant experience preferred.
CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSURES REQUIRED:
- One of the following certifications/programs required: B-EMT, Graduate from a formal Medical Assistant program, Completion of a formal nursing education program, Completion of a formal medical doctor education program
- OR One (1) year of applicable Emergency Room Technical experience in lieu of above completed certification/program. (Must complete applicable certification/program within 12 months of hire).
- Successful completion of a 180-day orientation period required.
- EMT license preferred.
