Number of Beds: 27
Number of Staff: 50 RN / 25 Medics
Patient Ratios: 46:1
Documentation System: Meditech

UNIT STAFFING:
Day Shift: 1 Charge RN, 5 RNs, 23 Medics
Additional 45 RNs at 11:00 AM
Additional 12 RNs at 3:00 PM
Night Shift: 1 Charge RN, 5 RNs, 23 Medics
TYPICAL HIRING PROFILE
MUST HAVE:
Completed 23 travel assignments
23 years of ER experience
PREFERRED / NICE TO HAVE:
Experience in high-acuity, fast-paced, high-volume ERs
Experience managing patient ratios of 5:1
PROCEDURES PERFORMED ON UNIT
RSI
Sepsis interventions
Stroke protocols with tPA administration
Central line placement
Care of psychiatric patients
Transfers to other facilities, including EMTALA transfers
