Job Summary and Qualifications The Adult/Pediatric/OB ED Concierge is a customer service-focused role assisting all outreach patients presenting to the hospital either as a transfer to the Emergency Departments or as a direct admit to Sunrise Hospital for medical care. You will maintain oversight and ownership over the lobby and waiting areas; this includes greeting patients, assisting with check-in, ensuring an adequate supply of assistive mobility devices such as wheelchairs, and ensuring the cleanliness of the area You will address any questions, complaints, or concerns brought forward by visitors or patients in the lobby and waiting room You will assist Public Safety in performing visitor badging duties as needed at hospital entrances and follow all visitation guidelines You will complete patient rounds on any patient or visitor in the lobby utilizing AIDET and perform patient rounds on admitted patients held in the ER. Immediately bring forward any questions or concerns that the patient or visitor may have to the unit charge nurse to address You will collaborate with security to ensure a safe and welcoming environment in the main lobbies and ER waiting rooms, immediately escalating any potential safety concerns to security What qualifications you will need: High School Diploma required Current Basic Life Support (BLS) Required Previous experience in customer service/guest relations is required; Bilingual applicants will receive preference over non-bilingual applicants Strong ability to work well with others Must have interpersonal skills necessary to deal effectively with diverse groups of individuals, as well as establish effective working relationships with fellow employees Effective and efficient communication skills in written and verbal formats to all groups Must have a comprehensive understanding of company and department policies, procedures, and operations Benefits Sunrise Hospital and Medical Center, offers a total rewards package that supports the health, life, career and retirement of our colleagues.
