Additional Position Details: FTE: 0.900000 | 36 hours per week | Full Time | Variable Hours/Variable Days | Department is open 0800-2000 (8 am-8 pm)/7 days a week
Starting Wage:Â $21.86-$30.07 per hour, depending on experience
Position Summary
The Emergency Services (ES) Tech helps provide care to patients in the Emergency Department/Immediate Care under the direction of the RN or MD. They also work as a team member and help promote the functioning of Emergency Services.
Job Requirements
Required Certifications
- EMT: Emergency Medical Technician certified by the Oregon Department of Human Services - OR - by the National Registry of Emergency Medical Technicians is required.
- BLS: Basic Life Support for the Healthcare provider certified by the American Heart Association (AHA) is required upon start
Preferred Certifications
- CMOT: Certified Monitor Technician
- PHTLS: Pre-Hospital Trauma Life Support
