Job Details:

Job Duties:

• Maintain various logs in an accurate and legible manner
• Speak and understand the English language
• Properly operate a mobile phone and/or radio and communicate regularly with a dispatcher
• Observe and obey all NYS Vehicle and Traffic Laws
• Operate and maintain company vehicles according to current policies and procedures
• Maintain the highest levels of customer service
• Patient identity must be confirmed prior to transport via a patient ID bracelet
• Ensure all clients are picked up and dropped off door-to-door and in a safe and appropriate manner
• Secure clients within the vehicle at all times as per current procedure
• Complete and submit all required paperwork

Requirements:

• Possession of a valid NYS Driver License
• This license is to be on their person while on duty
• Be properly uniformed while on duty
• Possess and be able to read and understand a map and/or operate a global positioning system (GPS) device
• Must be able to safely lift, carry, and balance up to 150 pounds without assistance and up to 300 pounds with assistance. 

Posted Salary Range: USD $19.00 - USD $23.00 /Hr. :

This range serves as a good faith estimate and actual pay will encompass a number of factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies, and experience and position location. The salary range or rate listed does not include any bonuses/incentive, differential pay or other forms of compensation that may be applicable to this job and it does not include the value of benefits.
