The Role
- Provide high-quality emergency and urgent care for small animals, from triage and stabilization to diagnosis and treatment
- Utilize in-house diagnostics, digital imaging, and on-site procedures to expedite care
- Collaborate closely with doctors and licensed veterinary technicians to ensure efficient patient flow and excellent outcomes
- Perform and support urgent procedures and elective surgeries as appropriate to experience
- Embrace Fear Free and Cat-Friendly handling to reduce patient stress
- Engage clients with clear, compassionate communication and timely follow-up
- Support and mentor newer clinicians and team members, contributing to a learning-focused culture
- Schedule aligns with daily client-facing urgent and emergency services; a mix of daytime and early evening shifts with rotating weekends is typical. Any overnight expectations, if applicable, will be discussed during the interview process.

Requirements
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD) or equivalent from an accredited institution
- Licensure (or eligibility) to practice veterinary medicine in the state of Washington
- Eligibility to work in the United States

- Strong communication and time-management skills suited to a fast-paced urgent care environment
