A growing veterinary organization is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Emergency Veterinarian to join its team. Responsibilities

• Provide emergency and urgent medical care for companion animals presenting with illnesses, injuries, and life-threatening conditions

• Perform physical examinations, diagnostics, and medical procedures to evaluate and stabilize patients

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans and communicate recommendations to pet owners

• Collaborate with veterinary technicians, support staff, and referral partners to ensure exceptional patient care

• Monitor hospitalized patients and adjust treatment plans based on patient response and clinical findings

• Maintain accurate and timely medical records and documentation

• Educate and support pet owners during emergency situations with empathy and professionalism

• Adhere to all professional, ethical, and regulatory standards of veterinary medicine

• Participate in continuing education and professional development opportunities

• Contribute to a positive, collaborative, and patient-centered team culture

Qualifications

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) or equivalent degree from an accredited veterinary school

• Current veterinary license in the state of practice or eligibility for licensure

• Emergency or critical care experience preferred, but new graduates with a strong interest in emergency medicine are encouraged to apply

• Strong clinical judgment, problem-solving, and decision-making skills

• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities

• Ability to perform effectively in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
