Global Talent Partners is excited to represent an outstanding opportunity for an Emergency Veterinarian to join one of the region's longest-established emergency hospitals.

Operating exclusively in emergency medicine, this hospital has been serving the Memphis community for more than four decades and provides after-hours emergency care seven days a week, including weekends, overnights and holidays.

This position offers exposure to a wide variety of emergency and critical care cases while working alongside an experienced team of emergency clinicians, highly trained veterinary nurses and support staff in a fast-paced but collaborative environment.

The Hospital

This purpose-built emergency hospital is fully equipped to manage a broad spectrum of emergency presentations, including:
  • Trauma and emergency surgery
  • Toxicity management
  • Critical care hospitalisation
  • Oxygen therapy
  • Digital diagnostic imaging
  • Comprehensive in-house laboratory
  • Ultrasound support
  • Medical emergency stabilisation
  • Emergency soft tissue surgery
  • Foreign body removal
  • Management of endocrine emergencies
  • Seizures and neurological emergencies
  • Referral collaboration with local primary care veterinarians

The hospital has a well-established referral network and works closely with primary care practices throughout the region to ensure continuity of care for patients following emergency treatment. Doctors benefit from experienced overnight technicians, collaborative case discussions and access to modern diagnostic equipment.

Ideal Candidate

  • DVM or equivalent
  • Emergency experience preferred but not essential
  • Internship-trained veterinarians encouraged to apply
