The expansive, purpose-built facility features multiple operating suites, an intensive care unit with continuous monitoring and mechanical ventilation, on-site laboratory services, and advanced imaging and diagnostics, including CT, MRI, ultrasound, digital radiography, fluoroscopy, and endoscopy. The Role
- Overnight or swing-shift emergency position managing urgent and critical presentations in a 24/7 service
- Triage, stabilize, and deliver high-quality ICU and ER care with support from an experienced technical team
- Utilize in-house lab and imaging; coordinate advanced diagnostics such as ultrasound, CT, and MRI
- Collaborate closely with specialty services in internal medicine, surgery, neurology, oncology, and imaging
- Perform emergency procedures and soft-tissue surgeries as indicated and within comfort level/training
- Communicate clearly with clients and referring veterinarians, contributing to strong referral relationships
- Participate in a teaching-oriented culture; mentorship available for new graduates

Requirements
- DVM/VMD (or equivalent) from an accredited institution
- License to practice veterinary medicine in Nebraska (or eligibility to obtain)
- Eligibility to work in the United States
- DEA and state controlled substance licensure (or eligibility to obtain)
- Emergency experience preferred; new graduates with strong ER interest are encouraged to apply
- Comfort with overnight schedules and a collaborative, fast-paced environment
