    Emergency Veterinarian – Port Washington, WI

      

    A growing veterinary practice is seeking a skilled Emergency Veterinarian to provide high-quality urgent and emergency medical care to companion animals in a collaborative clinical environment. This role offers the opportunity to manage diverse emergency cases, utilize modern diagnostic and treatment tools, and work alongside an experienced medical support team dedicated to excellent patient outcomes.

     

    Key Responsibilities

    • Provide medical evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment for companion animals presenting with urgent medical conditions

    • Perform medical procedures and case management in accordance with current veterinary standards

    • Communicate treatment plans, recommendations, and follow-up care clearly to pet owners

    • Maintain accurate patient records and ensure compliance with regulatory and medical protocols

    • Collaborate with technicians and clinical staff to support efficient patient flow and high standards of care

     

    Qualifications

    • Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD) or equivalent degree from an accredited institution

    • Active veterinary license in good standing or eligibility for licensure

    • Strong clinical decision-making, communication, and patient-care skills

    • Ability to manage multiple cases in a fast-paced clinical environment
