A veterinary practice is seeking a Veterinarian to join its emergency care team. Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate, diagnose, and treat emergency and critical care patients.

• Perform emergency procedures and surgical interventions within the scope of practice.

• Develop individualized treatment plans and monitor patient progress throughout hospitalization.

• Collaborate with veterinary technicians, specialists, and support staff to provide comprehensive patient care.

• Communicate diagnoses, treatment options, and prognoses with clients.

• Maintain accurate and timely medical records.

• Participate in continuing education and quality improvement initiatives.

• Uphold the highest standards of emergency medicine, patient safety, and client service.

Qualifications

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD) or equivalent degree from an accredited institution.

• Active or eligible veterinary license in the state of practice.

• Experience or strong interest in emergency medicine is preferred.

• Strong clinical judgment, communication, and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to perform effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
