    Employee Benefits Associate Attorney

    Compensation

    $170,000 – $300,000+

    A highly respected law firm is seeking an Employee Benefits Associate Attorney to join its Cleveland or Cincinnati office.

    This opportunity is ideal for an attorney interested in advising employers, plan sponsors, fiduciaries, and corporate clients on sophisticated employee benefits, executive compensation, and ERISA matters.

    Ideal Background

    2+ years of employee benefits, executive compensation, ERISA, or tax-qualified retirement plan experience

    • Experience advising employers and plan sponsors on employee benefits and executive compensation matters preferred

    • Experience with qualified retirement plans, health and welfare plans, deferred compensation arrangements, and ERISA compliance

    • Experience supporting mergers & acquisitions, corporate transactions, and due diligence reviews involving employee benefits matters

    • Experience drafting and reviewing plan documents, amendments, executive compensation agreements, and related documents

    • Strong drafting, analytical, and communication skills

    • Ability to work directly with clients and transaction teams

    • Excellent academic credentials

    J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school required

    Ohio bar admission required or ability to become admitted
