Brentwood Union School District is hiring an Instructional Assistant to support our Employee After School Program, a parent co-op designed to provide safe, engaging after-school care for the school-age children of BUSD staff.

Job Title: Employee Child Care Assistant

Location: Brentwood Elementary School

Salary: $20.01 - $25.18 / per hour (6 steps)

Hours: 12:00 pm - 4:45 pm

Length of Work Year: 181 days

Employment Type: Part Time - 4.75 average daily hours

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and support elementary-aged students in a structured after-school setting.
• Plan and lead daily recreation and enrichment activities.
• Communicate regularly with parents, students, and the Parent Club Board.
• Maintain accurate records for attendance, injuries, and emergency contacts.
• Ensure a safe, welcoming environment by implementing school and program safety procedures.
